TechCuki exists to give readers accurate, easy-to-follow tech guides. This page explains how we choose topics, write and check our guides, and keep them current.
How we choose topics
We cover tasks and problems that people run into on popular devices and apps. We do not publish guides that help readers pirate software or media, bypass security or activation locks on devices they do not own, or access accounts that are not theirs.
How we write and check guides
- Version-specific steps. Each guide states the operating system or app version it applies to.
- Official sources first. We check steps, menu names, and settings paths against official documentation from Microsoft, Apple, Google, and other vendors, and we link to those sources.
- Safety warnings up front. If a step could delete data or change important system settings, we say so before the steps and explain how to back up.
- Plain language. We explain what each step does, not only where to click.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. A human editor reviews, fact-checks, and edits every guide before it is published and is responsible for its accuracy.
Updates and corrections
Software changes often. We show the last-updated date on every guide and revise guides when steps change. If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page link and your device or app version. We correct confirmed errors promptly.
Independence and advertising
TechCuki is supported by advertising. Advertisers do not choose our topics, review our guides before publication, or influence what we recommend. We do not accept payment to publish content disguised as editorial guides.
